Family legacy studio

KinTree

Map your family tree, capture stories and voice memories, and keep the archive that belongs to your household.

What KinTree holds

Stamboom

Build generations on an interactive tree, open rich person profiles, trace relationship paths, and focus on the branch that matters to you right now.

Verhalen

Write family stories, link them to relatives, and attach short voice memories when a spoken moment says more than text alone.

Archief & erfenis

Catalogue photos, letters, and keepsakes with provenance notes; map meaningful places; export a family book PDF when you are ready to share.

Inside the app

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 6, 2026

KinTree is built for private family archives. The people, stories, photos, voice recordings, places, and documents you add are stored on your device using on-device storage. We do not operate user accounts for this app and we do not receive your family content on our servers.

If you choose to record a voice memory, KinTree asks for microphone access only while you start a recording; audio is saved locally with the story you attach it to. If you add a photo from your library, KinTree reads the image you select so it can appear in a person profile or archive item; we do not scan your entire photo library in the background.

Family places you enter are shown on a map from coordinates you provide. KinTree does not track your real-time location. When you export a family book or archive PDF, the file is created on your device and you decide how to share it.

KinTree does not sell personal data. For questions about this policy, use the contact email in the Support section below.
